African Names: The Key to Unlocking your Spiritual Destiny
This workshop is based on Dr. Ur Aua Hehi Metu EnKamit’s best seller “African Names”; and will introduce participants to the significance of choosing the right name (your “Ren” in the Kamitic (Black Egypt) tradition) at any stage of life. The importance of proper naming was well understood and practiced in traditional African societies. From this perspective, names were not selected based on their aesthetics or sentimental value, but rather their capacity to “spiritually energize” a person towards the fulfillment of their “destiny” or “re-incarnation objective”. Additionally, this workshop will provide an overview of the framework, process and tools that are essential to the proper naming process from the Kamitic tradition.
